Boxing Day 10

Opps: Seems that Paul E has had too much sherry! Mark's winning time was actually 26:55 beating Steve Downs by just two seconds! I feel happier too as Mark was only thirty something seconds faster than me (and not 2 minutes). Matthew

23 (fool) hardy riders turned up for the boxing day 10 time trial.  Surprise winner was Mark Wilkinson who beat his nearest rival by 1 minute and a half!  Rumours are that he has been training specifically for the event and had a half a carrot and a lettuce leaf for his Christmas dinner so that he would not put too much weight on.  Personally, I glad that he did not start a minute behind me - well actually two minutes behind me.
